Durham University Sustainable and Ethical Fashion (DUSEF) is a new society founded this year with the aim of promoting more sustainable fashion practices in Durham. DUSEF plan to hold events such as secondhand sales and guest speaker lectures, with profits going to our two chosen charities, Labour Behind The Label and Anti-Slavery International.
DUSEF aim to raise awareness for the issues surrounding the fashion industry, such as its damaging impact on the environment and its use of unethical labour, using social media, blog posts and guest speakers.
Provide students with ways of making more sustainable and ethical fashion choices, such as through hosting secondhand sales, clothes swaps, and sharing advice via social media.
DUSEF aim to fundraise money through events that will be donated to our two chosen charities for this year, Labour Behind The Label and Anti-Slavery International.
